21 & OVER

Cafe du Nord has been serving San Francisco (almost) continuously since 1907. Reopened after restoration in the summer of 2015, it is once again providing San Franciscans with good food, good drink and good times. Tucked into the back of the historic bar is the Viking Room, a private dining room with seating for up to 40 and 60 standing as well as a dedicated bar and stage.

Jassberry Jam

Tue Aug 16th / 8:00pm
Silver Bell Jazz Band

Jassberry Jam will be returning every 3rd Tuesday to Cafe du Nord! This will be a true artistic collaboration between musicians and dancers and a celebration of the jazz we all love.

$8 at the door (cash only) gets you three hours of dancing to a hot jazz band.

The first two hours will be dedicated to band-dancer interactions. The Silver Bell Jazz Band will be playing with a mindfulness for dancing, so bring your dance shoes and special requests!

For the last hour, we'll open up the stage to other musicians who want to jam with the house band, so bring your instruments and spread the word to your musician friends! This is an ALL SKILL LEVELS jam, so whether you're just starting out or have been doing this for decades, you are welcome.

Silver Bell Jazz Band members: Ryan Calloway (cl), Clint Baker (tpt, etc.), Bill Reinhart (b), Andrew "Carnegie" Hall (p).

The kitchen and bar will be open all night long, and they serve deeeeelicious food and drinks!
