SF's own Club Foot was the premier artist-run venue in the 80's, hosting a wide range of acts – from avant-garde luminaries such as Diamanda Galás to the heavy hardcore of Black Flag. To celebrate its 30-year anniversary, the renowned silent-film accompanists Club Foot Orchestra will be joined by other pioneering groups spawned from the Club.
Performances will include members of Longshoremen, Alterboys, Bay Of Pigs, Naked City, Rhyth-A-Rama, and Inflatable Boy Clams. With emcee Mr. Lucky.
In 1980 many of these incestuous groups documented their own Jazz-Punk-DIY-Situationist aesthetic on a compilation album. Subterranean Records has repressed a special limited edition of the Club Foot LP for this event. Dig it!
